Event Co-Sponsorships
The Baker-Nord Center offers co-sponsorships in support of faculty-initiated campus events that enrich the intellectual life of the University by invigorating interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration in the arts and humanities. Priority is given to projects that cross-disciplinary boundaries and/or partner with other Case Western Reserve University schools and community organizations. In most cases, funding will be limited to $500.
Applications are considered on an on-going basis, funds permitting. Forms and eligibility requirements are available online.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis, resources permitting. If you are planning an event and would like to request co-sponsorship funding from the Center, please complete and submit the form below. Priority is given to projects that cross-disciplinary boundaries and/or partner with other Case Western Reserve schools and/or community organizations. Allow a minimum of two weeks for processing. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis. You may apply for Co-Sponsorship Funds up to one year in advance of the event.
For events in the fall semester, the deadline for application is 1 October.
For events in the spring semester, the deadline for application is 1 February.
Please note that budget funds may be exhausted before these deadlines.
Funding is contingent upon the following:
- The Baker-Nord Center must be credited as a co-sponsor in all published materials related to the event and reserves the right to verify correct use of its name prior to publication.
- Two copies of all final promotional literature must be submitted to the Baker-Nord Center.
- Upon completion of the event, the applicant will provide the Center with a brief written report.
- Please note that funds will not be released until the criteria listed above have been fulfilled and certified by a Baker-Nord staff member.
