Foreign Travel to Collections

The Center offers competitive Foreign Travel Grants of up to $1000 to support travel to Collections. Collection is used here to denote libraries, museums, and other related holdings of original archival material not available in the United States or via interlibrary loan services or digitization.

Eligibility

Full-time faculty in the arts and humanities within the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve University are eligible for this grant. Applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation/support from the department chair.

Reporting

Grants may be expended between June 2009 and June 2010. Receipts are due in a timely manner and well before the close of the fiscal year.

Application (Due by 10 April, 2009)

All applications will be reviewed by a committee; please be aware that there are a limited number of grants available. If sufficient funds remain, a second application round will be held in Fall 2009.
