Foreign Travel to Conferences
The Center offers competitive Foreign Travel to Conferences Grants between $750-$1000 (depending on need) to support travel to Conferences. Conference is used here to denote scholarly meetings dedicated to advancing knowledge.
Eligibility
Full-time faculty in the arts and humanities within the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve University are eligible for this grant. Applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation/support from the department chair.
Reporting
Grants may be expended between 1 June 2009 and 1 December 2009. All receipts must be received by the Baker-Nord Center/Office of Interdisciplinary programs well in advance of the close of the calendar year.
Application (Due by 10 April, 2009)
All applications will be reviewed by a committee; please be aware that there are a limited number of grants available. A second application round will be held in December 2010 for conference travel from 1 January to June 2010.
