ON THE COVER

Elina Gertsman, a professor in the Department of Art History and Art, contemplates one of the signature objects owned by the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA): a Gothic table fountain produced in France in the early 14th century. Gertsman collaborated with CMA curator Stephen Fliegel in organizing an exhibition devoted to the fountain, and she gave students in a graduate seminar the opportunity to write entries for the catalogue and wall labels for the show itself.
