The Dittrick Medical History Center has recently unveiled a 4-by-8-foot interactive touch-screen display. The display allows for hands-on interaction with all of the archives in the museum. The screen works similarly to a smartphone and users can tap and swipe through the entire collection.
The display was designed by award-winning BlueCadet of Philadelphia, which has also done projects for the National WWII Museum and NASA Goddard Visitor Center. The wall is divided into three sections: Women’s Health and Contraception, Communities in Crisis, and the Spread of Ideas.
