Where are you from?

Seoul, South Korea

What is your major?

Theater

Why did you choose to study this subject?

It’s the only thing I can see myself do for the rest of my life.

What is your favorite class/faculty member, and why?

All acting classes are my favorite. I love all of my theatre professors. They treat me like a friend and care about their students.

Why did you choose CWRU?

My grandfather went here a long time ago, so I grew up hearing stories about it.

What do you like best about CWRU?

My friends and brothers. I love the relationships and connections I have made here with people of different backgrounds and personalities. I learn everyday from hearing their views on things and hanging out with them. Most importantly, they teach me to care and be cared for.

What do you like best about living in Cleveland?

The relationships I have made with the people here.

Describe any research projects, study abroad, internship or other unique experiences and opportunities you have had as a result of being a CWRU student.

I studied abroad for a semester in London at RADA (the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art).

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

I was involved in Speakeasy, Dhamakapella and Footlighters. I’m in the FIJI fraternity.

What are some of your interests and hobbies?

I like to sing and play instruments. I like watching The Office but recently started Parks and Rec. So far, so good.

What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment so far?

Building a family of friends around the world.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

A hard working actor who loves life because he loves the people he is surrounded with and he loves what he does.
