Editing the wiki

Adding and Editing
Adding a page can be done one of two ways. First, using the Search the Wiki box on the side navigation bar search for the title of the page you would like to add. If a similar page does not exist, clicking the this exact title link will open a blank page with the exact title that was in the search. Secondly, a new page is created every time an internal link to a page that does not exist is added to any page that is being edited. Clicking that newly created link goes to a blank page with that title.
Pages can be edited simply by navigating to the desired page and selecting edit on the gray menu bar at the top of the page.
Formating and Wiki markup
In order to format text and add links to the Wiki while editing, a special syntax must be used. The toolbar at the top of the text area on the edit page contains shortcuts for many common options. The SAGES Wiki has a great summary of the Wiki markup here
Undo Changes to a Page
The Wiki stores copies of previous versions of a page in its History. Pages can be reverted back to previous versions by going to the history (next to edit on the gray menu bar), selecting a previous version from the list, selecting the radio button for the old page, and clicking Compare selected versions. Differences between the current and previous versions will be highlighted in a side-by-side comparison. A rollback link at the top of the previous version will replace the current page with itself.
