A concentration in Global Ethnic Studies allows students to compose a program\u00a0of ETHS-related courses that are outside of\u00a0African American, African, or Latino\/Latin American Studies. Students who choose this concentration may focus on, for example,\u00a0theories regarding immigration, racism,\u00a0or\u00a0minority group status in the United States or in\u00a0any given country. Another possibility may be the study of other non-Western cultures such as those in\u00a0the Arab world or in Central Asia. A program of study is determined in consultation with an ETHS faculty advisor.
