This section is typically offered in the spring semester. Students working on film- and media-related projects in Capstone and other English courses can apply for <a href=\"https:\/\/english.case.edu\/grant-for-film-and-media-english-capstone-and-other-english-course-related-projects\/\">funding assistance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Prerequisites for the ENGL 368C\u2014Topics in Film Capstone<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to any other\u00a0prerequisites that may apply (speak with your advisor if you&#8217;re unsure), students eligible to register for the ENGL 368C\u2014Topics in Film Capstone will have<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a) declared an English major with a concentration in film; or b) declared both an English major and a film minor (and have completed at least three courses successfully toward the minor); or c) received official notification of approval for a\u00a0self-designed film major<\/li>\n<li>successfully completed ENGL 367\u2014Introduction to Film<\/li>\n<li>in the cases of 1-a and 1-b above, successfully completed ENGL 380\u2014Departmental Seminar. <strong>Note: Students may not take 380 concurrently with a film\u00a0capstone course<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>met with Robert Spadoni and registered for ENGL 368C <strong>by the last day of classes in the semester preceding<\/strong> the semester in which the capstone is being offered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Students who do not meet these requirements will not be permitted to register for the ENGL 368C\u2014Topics in Film Capstone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students interested in doing a film capstone can register for ENGL 368C, the capstone section of the Topics in Film course.
