Lee FisherCEO, Center for Families and Children |
Dear Colleagues:
Many of you know Lee Fisher as the former Attorney General of the State of Ohio and Democratic candidate for Governor in 1998. A few may know him as their instructor in a SAGES seminar about the Presidential election during this past Fall. But his main job these days is as the CEO of the Center for Families and Children (c4fc.org), one of the major human services nonprofit organizations in Cuyahoga County.
There’s a lot of talk about differences between the public sector and the private sector and the “independent sector” of nonprofit organizations. But as a former practicing attorney and politician, and now part of the leadership team of a major nonprofit, Lee Fisher is in especially good position to reflect on the differences. So please join us for the Friday Public Affairs Lunch on February 18, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 14 of Crawford Hall. Lee will comment on “Life at the Intersection: Perspectives and Lessons Learned From a Life Lived at the Intersection of the Public, Private, and Nonprofit Sectors.”
As usual, cookies and beverages will be provided, lunch is brown bag, and please bring your opinions as well as your lunch!
Best regards,
Joe White
