​​Policy Change Announcement from the Vice President for Research 
The University is changing the grant submission deadline from five days to three business days beginning September 1, 2021. All proposals submitted on or after September 1, 2021, must be submitted three business days prior to the due date.  The new submission policy is located at Grant Submission Policy

​​Revised Guidance for Grants.gov and the new National Science Foundation PAPPG
Please note the following:  IMPORTANT: The National Science Foundation (NSF) has published a revised version of the NSF Grants.gov Application Guide (NSF 21-084). Overall, the Guide has been updated to align with the changes to the NEW NSF’s Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 22-1). The Guide will be effective for applications submitted (via Grants.gov) or due, on or after October 4, 2021. New supplementary documents will be required.

Faculty Disclosure and Reporting Guidance 
CWRU’s Office of Research Administration has developed a website which can be found here: Faculty Disclosure and Reporting Guidance. This will help assist faculty in fulfilling reporting obligations with respect to University policy and updated federal requirements

​​JobsOhio: Next Generation Healthcare – Internal LOI Opportunity – Due Sept 1st
JobsOhio RFP Due date: Internal Letter of Intent submission due Wednesday, September 1, 2021, @5pm ET. Up to 10 awardees. Meritorious funding amount and 1:1 matching cost-share required from the applicant. Responsive projects will align with CWRU’s focus on next-generation healthcare as well as the mandates of JobsOhio, which state that funds are to be used “to invest in fixed-assets, wages, or supplies that accelerate and scale CWRU research initiatives and related projects, as well as translational and commercialization programs”.
