Schedule an appointment by emailing\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:studyabroad@case.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">studyabroad@case.edu<\/a>. Study abroad advisors\u00a0provide guidance about selecting a program, obtaining CWRU credit, financing time abroad, and planning to live overseas.\u00a0 Students will also find it helpful to seek the advice of the <a title=\"Faculty\/Staff\" href=\"http:\/\/artsci.case.edu\/international-studies\/staff\/\">International Studies director<\/a> and CWRU faculty who share their interests.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Step-by-step instructions for scheduling a meeting with the Study Abroad office:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Navigate to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/case.edu\/studentlife\/educationabroad\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Office of Education Abroad<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> website.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Scroll down the home page and click on the \u201cSchedule Now\u201d bar, which will direct you to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/login-dev.case.edu\/cas\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">MyJourney<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There, click on \u201cSchedule an Appointment,\u201d then \u201cTeams,\u201d then scroll down to find the \u201cStudy Abroad\u201d team option.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once there, select the a topic from the drop down menu that most closely aligns with your needs, e.g. \u201cResearch &amp; Internships.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finally, select from the available meeting options, organized by date and time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Global Opportunities for International Studies Students&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1787433353672-3c6bfd25-a873&#8243;][vc_column_text]International Studies students have participated in semester, summer, and faculty-led programs across more than 35 countries spanning six continents, including destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, and the Middle East. These global experiences allow students to deepen their understanding of international issues while developing intercultural competence, language skills, and perspectives that extend beyond the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities include direct enrollment at leading international universities, internships abroad, and faculty-led courses exploring topics such as global health, international management, public policy, bioethics, sustainability, language and culture, social justice, archaeology, economics, and international development.
