Baker-Nord Center summer grant winners include\u00a0Zineb Benkirane<\/strong>, who will intern in the education division of the social investment firm Carbon Group and volunteer with the female empowerment group Wonder Foundation;\u00a0Anna Cormier<\/strong>, who will intern with the human and labor rights organization Verit\u00e9 in Amherst, Massachusetts;\u00a0Jordan Deskins<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Fatima Rahman<\/strong>\u00a0who will intern with the InterReligious Task Force on Central America in Cleveland;\u00a0Shanice Gitau<\/strong>\u00a0who will intern with Manna International in Ecuador, and\u00a0Kimberly Osbern<\/strong>,\u00a0Kasey Pukys<\/strong>, and\u00a0Sienna Warshawsky<\/strong>, who are finalizing their internships.<\/p>\n

Jordan Deskins\u00a0<\/strong>also won summer funding from SOURCE for her internship.<\/p>\n

Okiemute Eyemaro<\/strong>\u00a0won a Unity Banquet Scholarship.<\/p>\n

Delphine Clatanoff\u00a0<\/strong>won the CWRU First Seminar Award for her\u00a0<\/strong>essay titled \u201cCharlotte Smith\u2019s Suffocating Romanticism,\u201d written for FSSY185Q: Death Mourning and Immortality.<\/p>\n
