National Archives Volunteering<\/a>
\nVolunteer to tag, transcribe, and add comments to National Archives records to make them more accessible. Students may apply to volunteer on a rolling basis.<\/p>\n

The Rangel Graduate Fellowship<\/a>
\nThis fellowship leads to a career in the U.S. Foreign Service. Deadline to apply is September 29, 2021.<\/p>\n

Boren Awards for\u00a0International\u00a0Study<\/a>
\nStudents interested in applying must be nominated by the university. Meet with\u00a0Dean Amanda McCarthy<\/a>\u00a0by October 1 to review the application requirements.<\/p>\n

Benjamin Gilman\u00a0International\u00a0Scholarship Program<\/a>
\nIn-person and virtual programs are available and begin throughout the 2021 year. Applications are due on October 5, 2021.<\/p>\n

USAID Graduate Fellowship Program<\/a>
\nSeniors interested in pursuing a career at the U.S. Agency for International Development are encouraged to apply for its Donald Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship. Applications are due November 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

American-Scandinavian\u00a0Exchanges<\/a>
\nSeniors are eligible to apply for educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Applications are due November 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

Harry S. Truman Scholarship<\/a>
\nJuniors planning to attend graduate school for careers in public service are eligible to apply for this merit-based scholarship. The application deadline is November 15, 2021.<\/p>\n

Africa<\/strong><\/u>
\nPrinceton in Africa<\/a>
\nThis fellowship enables college graduates to work in public service in Africa. Applications for 2022-2023 are due October 27, 2021.\u00a0International Studies majors have won this prestigious award in the past.<\/p>\n

Faya Dayi<\/em><\/a>
\nSeptember 24 7:00 p.m., September 25 8:40 p.m., Cinematheque<\/em>
\nKhat, Ethiopia\u2019s biggest cash crop, is explored in this nonfiction film. Tickets are $7 for those under 25 years old.
\nAsia<\/strong><\/u>
\nPrinceton in Asia<\/a>
\nThis fellowship enables college graduates to work with in public service in Asia. Applications for 2022-2023 are due November 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

The Wind Rises<\/a><\/em>

\nAviation engineer Jiro Horikoshi discovers, to his horror, that his newly built dream plane will be used for combat in World War II in this fictionalized biography. Tickets are $4 and are available in advance through CampusGroups and at the door.<\/p>\n

\nAn Italian gossip columnist experiences the life of Rome\u2019s soulless jet-set in this classic Federico Fellini film. Tickets are $8 for those under 25 years old.<\/p>\n

Latin America<\/strong><\/u>
\nRoots of the Hispanic\/Latinx Community in Cleveland<\/a>
\nSeptember 24, 4:30-5:45 p.m., Virtual<\/em>
