a modern culture, too<br \/>\nAn art-filled life in so many ways<br \/>\nA beautiful thing to be a Jew<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Other Student Thoughts and Comments<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Religious Roots of the Middle East Conflict<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>&#8220;I had gone to a Jewish Day School in high school and thus had a pretty good understanding of the Jewish religion, with very little understanding of Islam and Christianity.\u00a0 Following this course, I feel I have a much stronger understanding of the three major religions, a reasonably broad understanding of the Middle East, and a much stronger enthusiasm for learning about the Middle East.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Women in the Bible<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>&#8220;I loved the class!\u00a0 It provided new, insightful information and promotes critical thinking &#8230; I was able to look at the Bible from a different perspective than I&#8217;ve ever had before&#8230;\u00a0 one of my favorite classes since I&#8217;ve attended Case.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Holocaust<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>&#8220;The professor teaches about the Shoa more than in terms of history, and makes us look beyond names and dates.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Jewish Image in Popular Film<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>&#8220;A fresh and entertaining course &#8230; the material presented was captivating!\u00a0 This was a really enjoyable course; got students involved and thinking critically.
