The Program in Jewish Studies offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the religion, history, literatures, languages, social experience, and cultures of the Jewish people. Through a variety of lenses, the program conveys the complex interaction of forces that create and express Jewish cultural and religious identities. Students completing the program will gain knowledge of the field along with the tools necessary for continued study of Judaism and Jewish civilization in all its manifestations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Religious Studies and the Program in Jewish Studies\u00a0are proud to welcome award-winning filmmaker and virtual reality creator, Avi Dabach, to our campus for two exciting events! Through an immersive virtual reality workshop and a lecture, Dabach will showcase his use of virtual reality and documentary filmmaking to explore history, memory, and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
