Explore 50+ graduate programs

Further your education and career with an advanced degree from Case Western Reserve University’s College of Arts and Sciences. We offer more than 50 graduate programs to choose from.

Our graduate programs span the arts, humanities, mathematical and natural sciences, and social sciences, ranging from chemistry and physics to anthropology and theater.

Our new Master of Arts in Military Ethics degree is the first dedicated graduate program of its kind in the nation. It is designed for students interested in careers in government, policy and foreign affairs, healthcare, law, military service and social work. Over the course of 12 to 15 months, students immerse themselves in topics ranging from military and professional ethics to leadership and law.

CWRU’s Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program (STEP) has helped students who have undergraduate degrees in science and engineering become successful innovators and entrepreneurs. STEP graduates work in diverse industries such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, IT, entertainment and aerospace.

The Department of Physics’ Master of Science degree program offers advanced courses taught by award-winning faculty researchers who are leaders in their fields. The Department of Chemistry​ attracts students from all over the world who are interested in pursuing graduate degrees. These programs are designed to equip students with strong foundations for careers in science.

The Department of Theater​’s Master of Arts degree program is a broad-based advanced study in the literature and critical analysis of theater with the opportunity to focus in a specialized content track of the student’s choice. The Department of Anthropology offers an intensive 2-semester (1-year) Master of Arts program in Medical Anthropology and Global Health.
