Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts for Licensure
The mission of the Art Education Program is to prepare Proactive Scholar-Practitioners who will develop into leaders, teachers, and talented artists in the field of art education. The curriculum in Art Education prepares students for careers as art educators, artists, and arts administrators. Graduates are eligible for Multi-Age Licensure in Visual Arts in Ohio and over 40 reciprocating states. The Art Education faculty is noted for its diverse teaching experience and active leadership and advocacy roles at both regional and state levels.
Once I reached college, I felt like I found my home. I was around like-minded people who loved making and learning about art just as much as I did-I loved every moment of it.
