Requirements for Honors are: 1) a grade point average of at least 3.5 in the major; 2) an honors thesis completed over the course of two semesters in the senior year devoted to the investigation of a literary or cultural topic (WLIT 397 and 398; these count beyond the 30 hours required for the major). The thesis is supervised by a WLIT faculty adviser and must be approved by a second faculty member. It must receive a grade of B or better.
