Welcome to the STAR Lab! In our lab, we focus on identifying ways to help youth with ADHD and attention problems experience positive outcomes. Specifically, we focus on how to develop, implement, and evaluate school-based interventions that aim to improve outcomes for youth with ADHD. In the STAR Lab, we believe partnering with schools to bring interventions to students is a great way to make sure interventions are helpful and relevant to youth. By anchoring our work within schools, we can make sure that interventions that help students with ADHD are accessible, feasible, and useful for youth, families, and school partners.

Our Focus:

Research:

  • Identify factors relevant to outcomes for youth with ADHD to target in interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and test interventions in schools where they can be most accessible and helpful.

Partnership:

  • Collaborate with school partners to ensure our work is feasible and meaningful.

Impact:

  • Improve and promote positive academic and social outcomes for youth with ADHD.
