• The focus of the STAR lab is partnering with schools and community members to improve and promote positive outcomes for youth with ADHD and attention difficulties. We seek to center our partners’ experiences to ensure that our work is meaningful and feasible for schools.
  • Our Approach to Partnership: We collaborate with schools to understand school needs and develop, implement, and evaluate school-based interventions for youth with ADHD and attention problems. Benefits of partnerships for school partners can include access to evidence-based interventions and training and professional development workshops for school staff.
  • What We Do:
    • Intervention Development: Develop, implement, and test interventions for students with ADHD or attention problems that are appropriate for and informed by the needs and strengths of school partners.
    • Professional Training: Provide training and informational workshops for school staff about ADHD, attention and regulation difficulties, executive functioning, and school-based assessment and intervention.
    • Research Participation: Partner with schools to conduct research focused on improving outcomes for youth with ADHD and attention problems.
