About
Dr. McGrath is a medical anthropologist with research interests in HIV risk, women’s health, HIV prevention, and access to HIV treatment. She has been an active member of the CWRU -Uganda Research Collaboration since its inception in 1987. She co-founded the Center for Social Science Research on AIDS (CeSSRA) in collaboration with the School of Social Sciences at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.
Dr. McGrath teaches courses on international health, HIV/AIDS, research design, and political economy of health.
