Nicholas Drashner is a sound and media designer specializing in live performance, fixed media, and interactive media. He serves as the resident sound and projection designer in the Department of Theater. Prior to joining Case Western Reserve University, he worked as an Audio Experience Engineer at BoomCloud360 and previously served as Assistant Professor of Sound and Projection Design at Kent State University.

With over a decade of professional experience, his design work has been featured in productions with companies such as Cleveland Play House, Dobama Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, La Jolla Playhouse, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, East West Players, and Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble. His sound design and composition for fixed media has been showcased internationally at numerous film festivals and art exhibitions.

Nicholas holds an MFA in Sound Design and a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts, both from University of California, San Diego.
