International Applicants: Eligibility for Academic English Proficiency Program
Qualified applicants for whom English is not a first language and whose TOEFL or IELTS scores fall between 75 and 89 (TOEFL internet-based test) or 6 and 6.5 (IELTS) may be eligible for the Academic English Proficiency (AEP) Program, in which students are admitted to graduate study provisionally. Upon completing the AEP certificate, the provision for full admission is satisfied and the student may begin graduate study in the program.
Continuing students for whom English is not a first language may also improve their written and spoken English skills by participating in Academic English Proficiency Program courses. (Please note, however, that these cannot be taken as Fellowship Courses.)
For more information, please visit the AEP website.
*PLEASE NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THIS PROGRAM IS NOT ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS. APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE MINIMUM LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS TO GAIN ADMISSION.
