I learn America: A Film Screening and Community Conversation
Tonight, 7:00 to 9:30 pm at the Captiol Theatre, 1390 W. 65th, Cleveland. This film documents 5 immigrant teenagers at a Brooklyn, NY high school. As part of a national viewing and conversation sponsored by Facing History and Ourselves.

Four Poems: Calligraphy in Running Script, 1500s-1600s
Now through January 15th in the Chinese Gallery, Cleveland Museum of Art. View this unique hand-scroll of Ming Dynasty calligraphy. Part of the museum’s permanent collection, this special piece will display on a rotation due to light sensitivity.

Two showings Friday, December 5th and Sunday December 7th at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Documentary film explores endeavors behind the scenes at London’s National Gallery. $7 for students

Symphonic Metamorphosis
Friday, December 5th, 7:00 pm at Severance Hall. The Cleveland Orchestra performs Hindemith Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes of Carl Maria von Weber and Beethoven Symphony No. 2. Student tickets available for $10.
