Flexible Fridays and Saturdays throughout the Spring semester. Tutor Chinese-language learners at Roxboro Elementary School in Cleveland Heights on Fridays.  Pack medical supplies shipments for developing countries with Medwish International on Saturdays. Transportation provided.

 

Africa

Sunday, January 25th at 1:30 pm at the Cleveland Museum of Art in the Morley Lecture Hall.  This film follows the story of an unlikely French advocate who contributed to the release of Nelson Mandela from prison.  $7 for students.

 

Asia

This study abroad opportunity is fully funded by the Chinese Government including tuition, accommodations, living allowances and medical insurance.  The application process is now open.

 

The Monbukagakusho Japanese Studies Scholarship provides funds for airfare, tuition and fees, and living expenses for one year of study abroad in Japan. Completed applications must be received at the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit by Friday, March 6, 2015.

 

Europe

Sunday, Jaunary 25th at 2:00 pm at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Gartner Auditorium.  Master museum organist, Karel Paukert will perform this French composition depicting the birth of Jesus Christ.  Free.

 

Latin America

Tuesday, January 27th at 5:30 pm at the Cleveland City Club, 1211 Euclid Avenue.  Join Ted Piccone as he discusses recent events that have renewed the relationship between the US and Cuba.  $5 for full time students.
