Harry S. Truman Scholarships
The Undergraduate Studies Office is accepting applications to be nominated for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation’s merit-based scholarship program. These scholarships are awarded to junior and sophomore standing students planning to attend graduate school with a career path of public service. Visit the Undergraduate Studies Website for more information before the November 15 deadline.

African Cuisine Expo

The African Student Association is hosting its cuisine expo where African dance performances and food are free for CWRU students.

Diwali Dinner
October 31, 6:00pm, Tink Ballroom
The Undergraduate Indian Students Association will host an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet at its Diwali celebration. Attire is Indian or semi-formal. Tickets for students are $5.

Europe
The Iron Rose

A couple explores a French graveyard and becomes trapped inside. Tickets for students are $7.

“The Lady in Number 6 Saved My Life”

Filmmaker Malcolm Clarke will discuss his film about Alice Harz-Sommer, who was the world’s oldest Holocaust survivor, as she recalls how music helped her survive. Tickets for students are $7.

Inspiration from French Painters of Gardens
November 10, 2:00pm
Garden Designer Bobbie Schwartz will give advice on how to use the gardens in French paintings to design your garden at home. Registration is required.
