Japanese Literary Studies Conference
February 16-17, Oberlin College
This interdisciplinary conference will explore the theme “Violence, Justice, and Honor in Japan’s Literary Cultures.” Registration is required.

Tuvan Throat Singing
January 21, 7:00p.m., Music Box
Russian group Huun-Huur-Tu performs traditional Mongolian throat singing. Tickets are $28 in advance.

Asia-Pacific Studies Graduate Program
Study at Waseda University in Tokyo. A full scholarship covers airfare, tuition, entrance fee, and a stipend. Applications will be accepted January 29-February 7.
