Sarah Diamond, associate professor in the Department of Biology, is a section lead on a special report coming out of a brand new collaboration between the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). The goal of the report is to identify interactions between climate and biodiversity policy.
IPCC and IPBES are two organizations aimed at supporting development of a range of climate change policies. Diamond was nominated to lead a six person panel within a group of 50 world experts contributing to the report that is scheduled to be published in May.
