Short Term and Study Abroad Information Session
Today, February 5th at 4pm in the Tomlinson lobby. This session will feature summer options for study abroad.Animating the War:  The First World War and the History of Animation
Today, February 5th at 4:30pm in Clark Hall room 206.  Donna Kornhaber, Assistant Professor of English at the University of Texas will discuss how WWI changed animation.

The Prison at Guantanamo Bay and America’s “Commitment to Justice”
Monday, February 9th at 4:15pm in the Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom A.  Assistant Federal Public Defender, Carlos Warner, discusses the current situation at GTMO and the opposing views and plans challenging both President Obama and Congress.

Rockwell Kent Screening and Discussion
Monday, February 9th, from 5 to 8:30pm in the Wolstein Auditorium.  This film looks at the landscape art of Rockwell Kent and how his travel throughout the world inspired him.   Stay after for a discussion led by Frederick Lewis, associate professor in the School of Media Arts and Studies at Ohio University.

Submit Your Paper for Publication to OSU’s Journal of Politics & International Affairs
JPIA is a student run journal at The Ohio State University and they are currently taking paper submissions for publication.  Deadline is March 1st!

Wright-Plaisance Post Baccalaureate Fellowship for Study Abroad
All application materials are to be submitted by April 1, 2015, to Chandel Smith at chandel.smith@case.edu.  Students must hold a bachelor’s degree and be proficient in the language where they wish to study.  May 2015 graduating Seniors are eligible to apply.



Themes and Variations:  Musical Drawings and Prints
Now through May 17th at the Cleveland Museum of Art.  This unique exhibit displays works from the museum’s permanent collection depicting music represented in art in Europe and the United States from the 15th to 20th centuries.
