Global Health Challenges

Dr. Nizar Zein from the Cleveland Clinic will discuss challenges and solutions of global health care. Student tickets are $5.

Post-Graduate Opportunities

Internship Opportunity
UST, an immigrant and refugee services organization, is currently seeking two interns. Interested students can apply here.

Critical Language Scholarship Program
This is an intensive language and cultural immersion program that allows students to pick one of 15 languages to study overseas. Applications are due November 27.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award
Graduating college seniors can apply for a $15,000 stipend to pursue a year of public service anywhere in the world. Application is due January 18, 2019.

Institute of Public Health Summer Research Program
This eight-week program offers students experience in global health research. Applications are due February 1, 2019.

Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program
This six-week program offers students a greater understanding of careers in international affairs. Applications are due February 5, 2019.

Boren Scholarships
Scholarships for varying lengths of international study are available for students interested in national security. Applications are due February 7, 2019.

Rumi Forum Internships
Rumi Forum is offering unpaid, flexible internships this spring. Contact internships@rumiforum.org for more information.

Cleveland Council on World Affairs Internships
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Volunteer for MedWish International

French Professional Diplomas

Korean Consulate General Visit
November 15, 1:00-2:00pm Tomlinson Hall Lobby
Join Consul General Jong-Kook Lee, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago, to discuss U.S.-Korea relations and North Korean nuclear issues. RSVP to global@case.edu.

JET Program
The JET Program offers post-graduate job opportunities in Japan. Numerous INTL alumni have participated in this program. Applications are due November 17.

Japanese Language Speech Contest
Showcase your Japanese language skills while competing for a scholarship and other prizes. Applications are due January 18, 2019 and the competition will take place in Dublin, OH on March 2, 2019.

Korea-America Student Conference
Students will have the opportunity to represent the U.S. in this academic and cultural exchange conference. The application deadline is December 31.

Polish and European Immigration and Integration Policies in the Context of Refugee Crisis

FU-BEST Internship
Students interested in doing an internship in Berlin can apply for an 8-week placement on a full-time basis. Apply online by December 1.

Teaching Assistant Program in France
Spend seven months teaching English to French students of all ages. The application deadline for the 2019-20 school year is January 15, 2019.

Amigos International Summer Program
Spend 4-8 weeks volunteering in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, or Panama. The summer 2018 application deadline is December 3.

PiLA offers year-long fellowships throughout Latin America. Applications are due November 12.
