International Security Positions
Deadlines for international security positions beginning summer 2022 can be as early as this spring due to security clearance requirements.  If you are interested in such positions, begin to monitor usajobs.gov and U.S. federal agency web sites regularly now.

Foundation for the Defense of Democracies Internships
Applications are currently being accepted for numerous internships at this Washington, DC think tank.

Medwish Internships
This global health organization is currently accepting applications for internships in its Cleveland office.

American Enterprise Institute Internships
This Washington, DC think tank offers internships in foreign policy and politics of particular regions, among other areas.  Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Roger Arliner Young Fellowship
May 2021 graduates from underrepresented ethnic and racial backgrounds are eligible for this fellowship in renewable energy. Application deadline is March 28.

Meridian International Center Fellowships
These paid summer internships focus on public diplomacy, economic development, trade, and women’s empowerment. Applications are due March 31.

Conference in International Relations
This conference showcases research from members of Sigma Iota Rho across the country. Deadline for proposals is Wednesday, March 31.

Leadership Council for Women in National Security Internship
LCWINS is seeking part-time administrative summer interns and fellows. Positions are paid. Application deadline is April 1.

Future Global Leaders Scholarship
Female juniors and seniors interested in international trade are eligible to apply for this $1500 scholarship, which includes a year of mentorship. Applications are due April 1.

 The Baker-Dole Internship Program 
This program offers full-time and part-time fall, spring, and summer internships that include a stipend. Interns will assist with policy research, some of which is foreign-focused. Applications close April 1, 2021.

Democracy Journal Internship
The Democracy: A Journal of Ideas offers Washington, DC-based internships in writing and editing and covers foreign topics. Applications for summer are due April 30.

Cleveland International Film Festival
April 7 – April 20, Virtual
Cleveland’s International Film Festival offers dozens of films from around the world, virtually. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 26.

Asia
National Bureau of Asian Research Fellowships
The Undergraduate Diversity Fellowship at NBR offers four-month summer fellowships to first-years and sophomores interested in Asia policy. Application deadline is March 28.

Postgraduate Teaching and Research in Asia
The China-U.S. Scholars Program offers teaching and research opportunities in China and Hong Kong for recent graduates.  Application deadline is April 15.

Band of Outsiders
Online screening begins March 26, Cinematheque

This new documentary provides a glimpse into Pope Francis’ work addressing equality and religious tolerance. Online screening fee is $12.

Quo Vadis, Aida?
This Bosnian War drama follows the story of a Bosnian United Nations translator as she attempts to protect her family at home. Online screening fee is $6.

A Glimpse at Dostoyevsky’s Life
March 28, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Virtual
A professional guide will conduct a live, virtual tour of the Dostoyevsky Museum in St. Petersburg. The event is free, but registration is required. Email INTL major Kasey Pukys will questions.
