Spring advising meetings are optional. If you would like to schedule a meeting with Professor McMann, you can do so here.  Be sure your calendar is set to Eastern Time.  Meetings will be by Zoom.

Call for Honor Society Officers
Serve as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, or Adjunct Liaison of the CWRU chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, the International Studies Honor Society, in the upcoming academic year. Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 2. Email SIR President Kimberly Osbern with any general questions.

Cessna & Associates Internships and Fellowships
Cessna & Associates Information Technology Industry Council is accepting applications for paid policy interns and fellows with focuses in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. Applications are due April 22.

Center for a New American Security Internships
CNAS is accepting applications for its Joseph S. Nye internship program in research, communications, or development. Internships run for six months and a stipend is provided. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

The Borgen Project
The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization aiming to end global poverty, offers telecommute internships in journalism, political affairs, and human resources. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Brown Immigration Law
Brown Immigration Law’s Cleveland Office is seeking case managers to assist attorneys in preparing legal filings. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.

Summer Funding
CWRU’s Baker-Nord Center offers three different grant competitions for summer funding.  Applications are due April 25, 2021.

Scholarships for Global Policy Seminar
The PLEN Scholarship Fund assists undergraduate women in funding and attending the Women in Global Policy seminar series. Scholarship applications are due April 25.

Space4Youth Essay Competition
The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs invites undergraduate students to write on “Space as a tool to foster climate mitigation and adaptation”. Deadline for submission is April 26.

Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Internships
CBCF is seeking full-time, virtual summer interns in various policy areas, including foreign policy. Applications are due April 30.

Black Girl 44 Scholarship
Created by Obama White House alumna Deesha Dyer, this scholarship funds Black/African American undergraduate women’s internships in politics or public service. Applications are due May 1.

Max Kampelman Fellowships
The Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe seeks recent undergraduates as interns.  Applications for summer fellowships are due May 7.

Netherland-America Foundation Essay Challenge
The Netherland-America Foundation is accepting essays on global problems and their solutions. Cash prizes awarded. Deadline for submission is June 30.

ENGin Speaking Buddies
ENGin is seeking volunteers to be paired with Ukrainian students to video chat one hour/week to improve their spoken English. Fill out this form to volunteer and email info@enginprogram.org with any questions.

US Together Position
US Together is seeking a microenterprise development program assistant for May to August 2021 to aid refugee businesses. This position is unpaid and can be remote. Contact Melissa Mattwig for more information.

Defense Intelligence Agency Virtual Career Day

Medieval Hebrew Transcripts

Virtual Student Foreign Policy Summit

This music-driven travel documentary explores the creation of an 8,000-kilometer belt of trees intended to fight climate change. Online screening fees are $10.

The American Institute for Contemporary German Studies
AICGS offers internships and seeks to promote German-American relations. Fall internship applications are due June 1.

My Wonderful Wanda

A Polish woman becomes a caretaker of a rich Swiss family in this award-winning comedy-drama. Online screening fees are $12.

Middle East
National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations Internship 
The National Council offers fall internships. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
