Call for Honor Society Officers
Serve on the executive board of the CWRU chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, the International Studies Honor Society, in the upcoming academic year. The application deadline has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 9. Email SIR President Kimberly Osbern with any general questions.

Summer Funding 
The first deadline for applying for funding for unpaid internships, projects, and research through Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education is May 7. If funding remains, additional applications will be considered on a rolling basis until June 1.

Rotary Peace Fellowship
Rotary awards fully funded fellowships to study in their master’s degree program or professional development certificate program. Applications close May 15, 2020 for the 2022-2023 fellowship.

The National Endowment for Democracy
The National Endowment for Democracy offers numerous internships. The fall 2021 application period opened April 20.

Virtual Student Federal Service
International Studies majors have had excellent experiences interning remotely during the academic year for U.S. government agencies, including the Department of State.  Positions are listed beginning July 1.

Literature Against the Pandemic
May 7, 12:45-2:00 p.m., Virtual

Time2Talk Spanish Lessons from Home
May 13 & 20, 7:00-8:00 p.m., Virtual
Improve your Spanish talking remotely to native speakers in Latin America through Cuyahoga County Public Library. Register to attend in advance.

Practice Foreign Service Officer Test
The U.S. Department of State offers a practice FSOT simulating the length, style of questions, and administration of the actual exam.

China’s Aging (and Shrinking?) Population

An undocumented West African immigrant falls in with societal outcasts in modern-day Berlin. Online screening fees are $12.

Middle East
Israel on Campus Coalition Fellowship
ICC is currently looking for student fellows for its 2021-2022 fellowship program. Fellows receive a stipend.
