Boren Awards for International Study
Students interested in applying must be nominated by the university. Meet with Dean Amanda McCarthy by October 1 to review the application requirements.

HACU National Internship Program
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities coordinates a variety of internships with federal agencies. Early deadline for summer 2021 internships is October 29, 2021.

USAID Graduate Fellowship Program
Seniors interested in pursuing a career at the U.S. Agency for International Development are encouraged to apply for its Donald Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship. Applications are due November 1, 2021.

Cultural Vistas Fellowship
Summer internships are available in Argentina, Germany, and Singapore. Applications are due December 11, 2021.

Multicultural Mashup

Best Practices in Applying to Graduate School

Join the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs to learn best practices for applying to graduate school in international affairs. Register in advance.

USAID Expo
October 5-7, Virtual
This three-day virtual event for Hispanic/Latinx students will provide information about internships, fellowships, and employment at USAID. Register in advance.

Africa
Princeton in Africa
This fellowship enables college graduates to work in public service in Africa. Applications for 2022-2023 are due October 27, 2021. International Studies majors have won this prestigious award in the past.

Asia
Princeton in Asia
This fellowship enables college graduates to work with in public service in Asia. Applications for 2022-2023 are due November 1, 2021.

Ellings-Korduba Fellowship Program
The National Bureau of Asian Research will award twelve-month fellowships to advanced undergraduates who focus on U.S. foreign policy in Asia. Applications for 2022-2023 are due December 13, 2021.

Blakemore Freeman Fellowships
Fellows undertake language study in Asia for an academic year. Applications are due December 31, 2021.

China Careers Summit

This two-day interactive virtual event is for university students interested in China-related careers. Spaces are limited, so register here in advance.

American-Scandinavian Exchanges
Seniors are eligible to apply for educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Applications are due November 1, 2021.

October 3-9, Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Eat at several, Latino-owned restaurants in Cleveland with special offers celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Middle East Institute
MEI offers unpaid fall, spring, and summer internships. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
