Sigma Iota Rho Application
Applications for the International Studies honor society are now open! Upper-class students may apply. Eligible sophomores may apply for adjunct membership. Apply by this Sunday, December 5, at 11:59 p.m.

Center for Strategic and International Studies
CSIS is offering several remote and in-person internships in spring 2022. International Studies alumni interned here as majors. Applications are being accepted until positions are filled.

Truman Center for National Policy
The Truman Center seeks undergraduates interested in national security and foreign policy. Fellows will be given a small stipend. Applications are accepted until positions are filled.

Alliance for Securing Democracy Internship
The Alliance for Securing Democracy is seeking virtual spring interns interested in researching autocratic actors’ attempts to undermine democracy. Applications are accepted until positions are filled.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby
Applications for remote spring and summer 2022 internships, including in international outreach, are due December 31, 2021.

Scoville Peace Fellowship
The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship places recent college graduates at Washington D.C. peace and security organizations. A salary is provided. Applications for fall 2022 are due January 7, 2022.

World Bank Internship
Graduating seniors enrolled in a full-time graduate study program are eligible to apply for this internship. Summer applications are due on January 31, 2022.

Global Youth Connect Programs
GYC is currently accepting applications for programs on human rights, peacekeeping, and other topics in countries in Africa, Europe and Latin America.

A detective tries to solve a series of random murders in this famous Japanese horror film. Tickets are $8 for those under 25 years old.

Europe
European Parliament Liaison Office DC Internships
Recent graduates may apply for a full-time, paid internship at the EPLO in DC. Interns monitor transnational politics and participate in events in DC with European executive agencies and NGOs. Applications for spring internships due December 10, 2021.

A Bavarian Christkindlmarkt

Participate in traditional German Christmas festivities including food, an outdoor market, and entertainment. Tickets are $5.
Latin America
InterReligious Task Force on Central America
IRTF offers internships focused on demilitarization; environmental rights; labor; fair trade; and LGBT, indigenous, and Afro-descendant solidarity. International Studies majors have interned here. Applications for spring, fall, and summer accepted on a rolling basis.

Mola Textiles of Panama
November 30 – January 9, Cleveland Museum of Art
Learn about the indigenous Guna woman of Panama through the mola, a key component of their traditional dress. This special CMA exhibit is free to the public.

A Tehran traffic cop tries to keep drivers out of a newly restricted zone in this amusing nonfiction film. Tickets are $7 for those under 25 years old.
