Cleveland Humanities Festival
Through March and April, the festival will probe the idea of “discourse” through art, literature, and music; some events are foreign-focused.

Cleveland International Film Festival
March 30 – April 9, Playhouse Square
Watch documentaries on humanitarian issues, hilarious 10-minute shorts, foreign flicks, and films screened in virtual reality. Admission ranges from $0-$25.

Project Coordinator at Harvard University
The Arctic Initiative at Harvard’s Belfer Center is hiring a project coordinator to work on climate policy and arctic community resilience. CWRU alumna, Brittany Janisbrittany.janis@gmail.com, is happy to answer questions.

Truman Center for National Policy Fellowship
Fellowships are virtual and will support work in national security and foreign policy.

Cleveland Council on World Affairs Internship

The International Center for Journalists is offering a paid summer internship.

UNHCR Internships
Eligible students can gain experience in the international humanitarian sector.

Energy Fellows Program
The CWRU ThinkEnergy Program is a one-year program for students interested in energy. INTL majors have participated in the past. Applications are due March 15.

Study Abroad Photo Contest
Submit photos of your time studying abroad with CWRU for a chance to win prizes. Entries are due by March 20.

United Nations Foundation Internships 
Applications for full- and part-time summer internships are accepted until March. Check online for the current open positions.

Global Citizen Award
The awards honor outstanding student organizations and students who champion internationalization at CWRU, among other objectives. Nominations are due February 25.

The Round-Up

Set during the 19th century, this film depicts Austro-Hungarian troops rounding up a group of peasants rooting out partisan dissidents. General admission is $10.

Video Competition and European Study Tour 
Create a video of how the United States and Europe can work together.  Winners go on a tour of Europe. The application is due March 15.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations seeks participants from the Latin America and Caribbean region. The deadline is March 15.

The Power and Poetry of Music
In this free exhibition, contemporary Chinese artist Peng Wei addresses the vital role of music and the arts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Service Fellowship in India
The American India Foundation provides service opportunities through host organizations in India.  Applications for the 2022-2023 fellowship cycle accepted beginning April 2022.

SEVA Banquet
