Human Rights Connected Internships
Community engagement and research internships are available. These unpaid internships can be completed remotely.  Contact INTL alumna and current employee Rosalie Candau, rpcandau@gmail.com, with any questions.

SOURCE-AHSS
Apply for a SOURCE-AHSS grant for up to $3500 toward  a 10-week summer internship, research experience, or creative endeavor. The application is due the Friday before Spring Break.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award
Graduating college seniors can apply for a $15,000 stipend to pursue a year of public service anywhere in the world. Application is due January 18, 2019.

Cleveland Foundation Summer Internship Program
Apply by January 21 for this 11-week paid internship with Cleveland-area nonprofit and public sector organizations, including some with an international focus.

Sigma Iota Rho Publication Opportunity
Submit original articles for the annual issue of the Journal of International Relations by January 31, 2019.

Center for Strategic & International Studies Internships
Paid part-time and full-time internships are offered in the fall, spring, and summer. Applications for available internships are accepted on a rolling basis.

United Nations Foundation Internships
Applications for full-time and part-time internships are being accepted. Check online for the current open positions.

Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellowship
This 12-month, full-time paid opportunity places fellows in Cleveland-based public sector agency. Applications are due February 4, 2019.

Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program
This six-week program offers students a greater understanding of careers in international affairs. Applications are due February 5, 2019.

Asia
Japanese Language Speech Contest
Showcase your Japanese language skills while competing for a scholarship and other prizes. Applications are due January 18, 2019 and the competition will take place in Dublin, OH on March 2, 2019.

Europe
Don’t Look Now

In this Italian film, a woman seduces a man and convinces him to help her murder her older husband. Tickets are $7 for age 25 and under.

Teach English in Poland
Students are invited to apply for this 3-week summer cultural exchange program. Applications are due February 1, 2019.

Middle East
Securing the Future in a Changing Middle East
January 23, 5:30-7:15pm The Union Club
Former U.S. Ambassador toAfghanstan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Kuwait and Lebanon Ryan Crocker will discuss the consequences of U.S. Involvement in the Middle East. Student tickets are $5.
