Anna Sklenar was awarded a Fulbright to examine the influence of nostalgia for the Soviet era on populism in Russia today. She will conduct interviews in Ekaterinburg, Russia in 2019-2020 as part of her research.
Mariam Gardezi, Hanna Paris, and Aubri Swank won Humanities@Work Scholarships to intern this summer with a public health program in Nairobi, a refugee and immigration assistance effort in Maine, and a law firm in Rome, respectively.
Maria DeRenzo presented her INTL 399 and SOURCE grant project The Efficacy of Short-term Medical Missions at Intersections Friday. Congratulations also to Jacqueline Kett and Viviane Finke for presenting projects from their other majors.

The Legacy of Bruno Schulz
