Kendo Student Cup
Sunday, September 25, 9:00 – 1:00 p.m., Adelbert Gym
After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid, the CWRU Kendo Club is back to host the 11th Annual CWRU Kendo Student Cup! The event is free of charge for spectators. Support the Case Kendo Club as they take on Cornell University, University of Michigan, University of Pittsburgh, and The Ohio State University!

National Archives Volunteering
Volunteer to tag, transcribe, and add comments to National Archives records to make them more accessible. Students may apply to volunteer on a rolling basis.

Register for the Foreign Service Officer Test
FSOT tests the skills necessary for the work of a Foreign Service officer. Registration closes September 29.

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program
This fellowship leads to a career in the U.S. Department of State upon completion of the program. Deadline to apply is September 29.

Boren Awards for International Study
Students interested in applying must be nominated by the university. Meet with Dean Wes Schaub by October 1 to review the application requirements.

Call for Papers: PSA Undergraduate Journal 
The Pi Sigma Alpha Journal welcomes submissions from undergraduates of any class or major in all areas of political science. Submissions from Pi Sigma Alpha members are encouraged, but membership is not a requirement for submission. The deadline is October 1.

American Councils Research Scholar Programs
Programs support scholars seeking to complete overseas, policy-relevant research. The deadline to apply is October 1.

FRONT International 2022: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art
Through October 2, Transformer Station.
A multi-venue display from over 75 local, national, and international artists. Free admission.

Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship Program
In-person and virtual programs are available. Applications are due October 6.

Foreign Agricultural Service Diversity Fellowship Program
A new US Department of Agriculture (USDA) program that prepares individuals interested in careers in USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. Applications are due October 6.

American-Scandinavian Exchanges
Seniors are eligible to apply for educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Applications are due November 1.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship
Juniors planning to attend graduate school for careers in public service are eligible to apply for this merit-based scholarship. The application deadline is November 15.

Africa

Princeton in Africa
This fellowship enables college graduates to work in public service in Africa. Applications are due October 26. International Studies majors have won this prestigious award in the past.

Asia

Princeton in Asia
This fellowship enables college graduates to work in public service in Asia. Applications for 2022-2023 are due November 1.

Europe

German Chancellor Fellowship
During a stay in Germany, Fellows pursue self-developed, research-based projects that are societally relevant and have the potential for long-term, publicly visible impact. The deadline to apply is October 15.

Latin America
