Q: Why did you choose this area of study?

A: Throughout my musical life, I have been fortunate to have met the most passionate and influential music teachers who shared this overlapping determination for music. My teachers’ past experiences, traditions, and dedication for music inspired me to share my own with the coming generations of students, as music holds value in every single person’s life. 

Q: What are you plans after graduation?

A: I plan to take a gap semester and apply to graduate school for flute performance. 

Q: Why did you choose CWRU?

A: I chose CWRU because of the joint music program with CIM and because my brother went here. 

Q: What is your favorite memory of CWRU?

A: Making spontaneous music with my closest friends on a Friday night. 

Q: What is the one thing you’d like to share with incoming students?

A: It is completely normal to feel lost at times, but surround yourself with people who will elevate you and support you through everything!
