The college is preparing for the 3rd annual College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Outstanding Staff Awards to formally recognize the exceptional work of staff in the college and the university.

Nominations should address the nominee’s commitment to the college, teamwork within and beyond their department, and their impact and exceptional contribution(s) over the academic year (July 2024 – June 2025). Candidates will be evaluated solely on nomination materials and those materials should not exceed one page in length. Individuals are allowed to submit multiple nominations. The nomination period for the 2024-2025 awards will be announced in summer 2025.
Eligibility:
Staff must be benefits-eligible employees (working at least half time) and be in good standing with the university. To be eligible for a CAS Outstanding Staff Award, the staff member must have been a CAS employee for at least one year as of June 30, 2025. For the non-CAS Outstanding Staff Award, the staff member must have been a university employee for at least one year as of June 30, 2025.
Outstanding Staff Award winners will be acknowledged at a celebration around the end of the calendar year and award payments will be issued as additional pay in the month following the award celebration.
