Q: Why did you choose this area of study?
A: I have always wanted to be in the mental health profession, more specifically to help children coping with and healing from trauma. There is so much room for growth in the field in finding the most effective treatments and building communities of support for children and families alike.
Q: What are you plans after graduation?
A: I am staying at CWRU to pursue my Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in children, youth, and families with a specialization in trauma at the Mandel School.
Q: Why did you choose CWRU?
A: I chose CWRU because I really appreciated the emphasis placed on hands-on learning and being involved in your community. I was able to get so many opportunities from small service events to volunteering at the student run health clinic.
Q: What is your favorite memory of CWRU?
A: My favorite memory of CWRU was when I got to be a Camp Counselor for Camp Kesem.
Q: What is the one thing you’d like to share with incoming students?
A: Take time for yourself and remember that you do not have to say yes to everything! Find the things that excite you and you’ll find that everything becomes easier.
