Q: Why did you choose this area of study for an advanced degree?
A: I chose to pursue my PhD to contribute research evidence in speech-language pathology to support positive outcomes for children with brain injury.
Q: What’re your next steps?
A: I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Maine.
Q: What is your favorite memory at CWRU?
A: The people! My advisor (Dr. Angela Ciccia), my many mentors, fellow PhD students (Peter and Libby!) and many other students, faculty, and staff had made my years at CWRU some of the best!
Q: What is your advice for a student starting a graduate or professional program at CWRU?
A: Take advantage of every opportunity. From clinic to research to policy, CWRU has some of the best training experiences for you. Don’t forget to explore Cleveland too!
