Monday, October 13th, 12:00 – 1:30 pm at The Cleveland Foundation, 1422 Euclid Ave. A panel discussion featuring Cleveland businesses engaged in global citizenship. Hosted by IPM (International Partners in Mission). $25

Shifting the Paradigm – Bringing to Justice Those who Commit Human Rights Atrocities
Tuesday, October 14th 4:30 – 5:30 pm in the Moot Courtroom. A discussion with Dr. Mark S. Ellis, Executive Director of the International Bar Association (IBA).

 

Africa

Keynote Presentation by Dorothy Nyong’o, Africa Cancer Foundation
Tuesday, October 14 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Notre Dame College, Regina Auditorium. A discussion about current challenges facing girls and women in Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa. $5 for students

 

Asia

U-Theatre Presents “Sword of Wisdom”
Sunday, October 12th at 7:30 pm in the Gartner Auditorium at the Cleveland Museum of Art. A dynamic synthesis of Asian style performing arts. Tickets $69 to $53.

CWRU Asian American Alliance Taste of Asia
Saturday, October 11th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Thwing Ballroom. Entertainment and food, Tickets are being sold in Nord from October 6-10 for $7 and at the door for $10 for undergraduates.

CWRU Undergraduate Indian Student Association presents Navatri Garba
Saturday, October 11th from 7:00 to 11:00 pm at the Adelbert gym. Traditional Indian festival celebrating the Divine Mother Durga with music, dancing and great food. Free!!

Classical Indian Folk Music with Lakha Khan
Sunday, October 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at The Harkness Chapel. Free for students.
