Fourth-year College of Arts and Sciences students Emma Risley and Aleska Sorgatz spent the summer working for the Sculpture Center on catalogs of virtual sculpture tours of Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus.
Case Western Reserve University students take part in the CMA Student Tour Guide program, which is a paid experiential training internship that allows college students to personally engage museum-goers using close-looking techniques. The tours emphasize building and expanding observation skills and are less focused on specific histories of artworks.
