Job-Hunting During the Recession
Thursday, February 18, 2021, 6:00-7:15 p.m., Virtual
Learn strategies for searching for a job now and during the pandemic’s aftereffects at this International Studies workshop. An economist, employment specialist, and alumna will provide advice customized for International Studies majors. RSVP here. Co-sponsored by Sigma Iota Rho.

No Standard Office Hours
Throughout the semester email Professor McMann for an appointment; she will not have standard office hours due to pandemic restrictions for her building.

Volunteer for Refugee Response
The Refugee Response in Cleveland is seeking virtual mentors to meet twice a week with refugees. Mentors should commit to the program until the end of June 2021. Apply online here.

Max Kampelman Fellowship Program 
Fellows work directly with Congressional offices, executive branch officials, and foreign diplomats on foreign policy issues. Fellowships are offered in communications and policy. Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis.

CCWA Young Professionals Advisory Committee
Apply for the Cleveland Council on World Affairs inaugural Young Professionals Advisory Committee to help plan young professional events and serve as a community ambassador for CCWA. Applications are due February 26, 2021.

Brookings Institution Position
Students and recent graduates work with Brookings’s staff on foreign policy and global economy and development research. Summer 2020 applications are due February 28, 2021.

American Enterprise Institute Summer Program
Intern at this Washington DC policy think tank, which examines foreign and defense policy, among other topics. The regular application deadline is March 1, 2021.

International Economic Development Council
IEDC offers internships on economic development as well as other topics. Summer 2020 applications close March 15, 2021.

Celebrate Lunar New Year by taking a picture with a holiday-themed backdrop or exploring information on the holiday compiled by the Center for International Affairs.

FU-BEST offers internship that allow students to work in Germany.  Applications close January 31, 2021.
