U.S. Department of State Student Internship Program
Applications for 2022 summer internships will open October 8 and close October 18. Internship assignments are both domestic and abroad. Juniors focusing on international security and diplomacy should apply for post abroad for their INTL practicum.
Social Policy Think Tank Team Internship
Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program at the University of Pennsylvania is recruiting interns for this fall semester to collect data and write reports on social policy think tanks in teams. Interested applicants may contact the TTCSP Intern Coordinator (ttcsp.interncoordinator@gmail.com) and cc project leads (keo35@case.edu, ananyaga@sas.upenn.edu).
Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship
The Scoville Peace Fellowship offers recent graduates the opportunity to work full-time with non-profit and public-interest organizations. Applications close October 18, 2021 for the Spring 2022 semester.
HACU National Internship Program
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities coordinates a variety of internships with federal agencies. Early deadline for summer 2021 internships is October 29, 2021.
U.S. Department of Treasury Fellowship
In this two-year program, fellows will work in the U.S. Treasury’s Office of International Affairs. Applications are due October 29, 2021.
PPIA Junior Summer Institute
This program prepares juniors seeking careers in public service for graduate school. Applications are due November 1, 2021.
Truman Scholarship
Interested juniors should submit preliminary applications for this public affairs graduate school scholarship to Dean Amanda McCarthy by November 15, 2021.
Critical Language Scholarship Program
Summer 2022 CLS applications are now available. Application deadline is November 16, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. EST.
James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program
Graduates work at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. Seniors should submit application information to Dean Amanda McCarthy by November 30, 2021. Juniors should meet with her to plan.
Projects for Peace
Propose a project to promote peace, broadly defined, anywhere in the world. Multiple International Studies majors have won this grant. It can be used as the INTL practicum. Intent to apply deadline is December 1, 2021.
Cultural Vistas Fellowship
Summer internships are available in Argentina, Germany, and Singapore. Applications are due December 11, 2021.
