Transatlantic Trends

Karen Donfried, President of the German Marshall Fund, will discuss the state of the transatlantic relations and the future strength of Western democracies. Tickets are $37.

Truman Scholarship

Graduate Student Fair

Representatives of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs’ top international affairs and public policy graduate schools will answer questions and help you navigate the admissions process.

James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program
This program allows graduates to work at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. Seniors should submit application information to Dean Amanada McCarthy by November 30, 2019. Juniors should meet with her this year to plan.

Projects for Peace
Propose a project to promote peace anywhere in the world.  Multiple International Studies majors have won this grant.  Application deadline is December 15, 2019.

Celebrating Komitas Vartabed

European Classical Music

Seventeen-year-old Mexican pianist Daniela Liebman will perform European classics at CMA. The concert is free.

Dutch Animation Celebration
October 13, 4:30pm, Cinematheque
Enjoy six animated short films from the Netherlands’ premiere film festival for children. Free popcorn. Tickets are $7 for ages 18-25, $3 for ages 17 and under.
