Major: Biology
Minor: Economics, Chemistry

Q: Why did you choose this area of study?

A: I have been always been interested in it.

Q: What are you plans after graduation?

A: I am interviewing for clinical research jobs in the Boston and New York area. I hope to research at a prestigious institution and apply to medical school. If all things go well, I hope to begin my medical journey in fall 2023.

Q: Why did you choose CWRU?

A: I chose CWRU because of the amazing programs in the sciences and the great professors. The campus was beautiful when I visited and I could really picture myself walking around. Additionally, the proximity to big health systems, especially the Cleveland Clinic, piqued my interest. Finally, the people that I met here were very supportive and I was confident that if I were a student that my learning and academics would receive adequately support.

Q: What is your favorite memory of CWRU?

A: While I have had so many great memories, my favorite may be walking to campus for the first time after campus opened back up to in-person classes. It had been a while since the campus was bustling, but seeing everyone come to life again after over a year in Zoom University reminded me of the excitement of CWRU.

Q: What is the one thing you’d like to share with incoming students?

A: Make relationships with the people around you. The people I have met here will be lifelong friends and have helped me in countless ways, inside and out of academics. The mentors I have had will create lasting impact on me and those around me. I guarantee people want to talk to you and meet you—go out of your comfort zone and approach them!
